Contact Geneva Tourism Guide

Use the form below to reach Geneva Tourism Guide. It goes straight to the person who runs the site — there is no support desk in between, and no ticket number. Most messages get a reply within a few days.

01 — Corrections come first

If something on this site is wrong or out of date, that is the message we most want to receive. A TPG fare that has gone up, a restaurant that has closed, a museum that has changed its Monday hours, a hiking route that is shut for works, a broken link. Include the page it appears on and we will check it against the source and fix it. You do not need to be polite about it.

02 — Questions we can usually help with

Anything that is really a question about the guides themselves — you have read a page and it did not answer the thing you needed, or two of our pages seem to contradict each other, or you cannot work out from what we have written whether the Geneva Transport Card covers the trip you are planning. Ask. If the answer is missing from the site, that usually means the page needs improving, so the question is useful to us too.

We also read pitches, press enquiries and advertising questions here. Say so in the subject line.

03 — Things we genuinely cannot do

We are a publication, not a travel agency, and a few requests arrive regularly that we have no ability to help with:

  • Bookings. We cannot reserve, change or cancel a hotel room, a restaurant table, a tour or a train ticket, and we have no relationship with any of the businesses we write about. Book directly with them.
  • Visas and entry rules. Whether you need a Schengen visa for Switzerland, and what you need to obtain one, is a question for the Swiss representation in your country or the State Secretariat for Migration. We are not qualified to advise on it and getting it wrong would cost you a trip.
  • Lost property and complaints. If you have left something on a TPG tram, an SBB train or at Geneva Airport, each of those operators runs its own lost-property service and only they can search it. The same goes for complaints about a hotel or an airline.
  • Anything urgent or medical. This form is checked periodically, not continuously. In Switzerland the emergency numbers are 144 for an ambulance, 117 for police and 118 for the fire service; 112 also works.

04 — Send a message

The form asks for your name and email so we can reply. Your address is used for that reply and nothing else — it does not go on a mailing list, and there is no mailing list to go on. See the privacy policy for what happens to what you send.

So we can reply. We do not add it to any list.
A correction, a question, a broken link, or a press or business enquiry.
If you are flagging something that has changed in Geneva, a link to the page in question helps a lot.
